Es begab sich im Jahre 2002, als Benedikt 'Keule' Zimmer im IRC folgenden Ausspruch tätigte:

Das Gelächter war groß, zumal Keule des öfteren durch derartige Traumquotes brillierte.
Als wir 2004 für den ersten Teil unserer Moviereihe auf Namenssuche waren, viel uns nach einiger Grübelei dieses Zitat ein.
Der Name hat letztendlich nicht unwesentlichen Anteil an der gesamten Aufmachung unserer Movies. Ein bisschen anders eben ;)
Die freundlichen "1"en waren im Prinzip nur ein spastisches Nebenprodukt unserer vollends geschädigten Internet-Hirne.

• Answer:
Sehr witzig. Zunächst einmal heißt es nicht [ko:pap], sondern [koppap]. So wie Kebab quasi.
Der Name "copap" enstand Zeitgleich mit der Clangründung im Frühjahr 2000. Wer die grandiose Denkleistung nun letztlich vollbrachte ist bis heute nicht gänzlich geklärt.
Man kann aber davon ausgehen, dass Alkohol mit im Spiel gewesen sein muss, denn ansonsten würde man wohl kaum auf den Namen "community of players against players" kommen.

Nebst LANs könnt ihr uns auch mit hoher Wahrscheinlichkeit bei Autritten der Discoboys oder größeren Konzerten/Festivals sehen.

Nunja. Für unsere Verhältnisse war die HartKorScho11elf eingeschlagen wie eine Bombe.
Ursprünglich hatten wir vor, uns einfach mal etwas Mühe mit einem CS-Movie zu geben, nachdem wir zuvor schon ein paar weniger gute produziert hatten.
Dass letztendlich über 4000 Leute das Movie saugen würden, wir ne News auf cs-videos.de bekommen würden und eine doch recht gute Bewertung dabei herausspringen würde, hatten wir eigentlich gar nicht beabsichtigt und auch nicht für möglich gehalten.
Nach einigen Monaten Ruhm- und Ruhephase wurde schließlich der Entschluss gefasst, die HartKorScho weiterzuführen. Ein besonderes Augenmerk wollten wir dieses Mal auf die copap-Community werfen.
Die HartKorScho111elf blieb letztendlich mit etwa 1200 Downloads und einer etwas schlechteren Bewertung als Teil 1 unter unseren Erwartungen und konnte ihren Vorgänger nicht übertreffen.
Das sagen jedenfalls die Zahlen. Auf der anderen Seite war es der zweite Teil, der den individuellen Stil, den wir auch im dritten Teil verfolgen wollten, so entscheidend geprägt hat.
Auf Grund der größtenteils positiven Resonanzen hinsichtlich dieses "etwas anderen" CS-Movies haben wir beschlossen, im letzten Teil der Trilogie eine gekonnte Mischung zusammenzubasteln, die sowohl das Gaming als auch die Community nicht zu kurz kommen lässt.
Unsere Motivation ist auch nach Fertigstellung der HartKorScho1111elf nach wie vor vorhanden. Einen weiteren HKS-Teil wird es allerdings nicht geben.
